The app ensures skippers can reserve appropriate mooring spots tailored to their boat's specifications, and it simplifies the entire process from reservation to payment. Ahoy Marina is a tablet app designed for marina staff, such as bosuns. It helps them manage marina operations more efficiently by handling reservations digitally. The app allows staff to receive and process reservation requests, conduct marina inventories, and manage the layout of the marina interactively. It also includes features for sending alerts and messages to skippers, generating reports, and managing marina services. Ahoy Marina significantly reduces the administrative burden on marina staff, allowing them to focus more on maintaining safety and providing better service to guests. The project involved user research, business strategy, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
